LED Displays Built for Cleveland's Lake-Effect Winters
Cleveland Metropolitan School District and the surrounding Cuyahoga County districts deal with some of the heaviest lake-effect snow in the Midwest — we spec classroom, hallway, and gym displays that account for it, not a mild-climate default.
Specified for genuine Lake Erie lake-effect snow
Cleveland-area winters bring some of the heaviest lake-effect snow totals in the region, driven directly off Lake Erie — a real factor in how we spec outdoor marquee housings, drainage, and de-icing considerations for district projects here. Because the heaviest snow months push more assemblies and daily announcements indoors, hallway and gym displays in Cleveland-area districts are sized for sustained heavy indoor-season use, not occasional fair-weather traffic.
Ohio's levy-and-bond capital cycle applies to Cleveland-area districts the same as the rest of the state — we build documentation formatted for that board and, where applicable, voter-facing review process.
Built for district facilities and ops directors, not general contractors
K-12 LED projects almost always start with a district facilities or operations director, sometimes alongside an athletic director for gym and scoreboard work, and move through a superintendent and school board for sign-off. We build every recommendation and every document around that process from the first conversation.
Walk the building
Classroom layout, hallway sightlines, gym ceiling height, and existing electrical/mounting infrastructure.
Right-size the spec
Pixel pitch and brightness matched to the room and budget — not the biggest board that fits the wall.
Board-ready proposal
Documentation formatted for a facilities director to carry into a bond or board-approval process.
Classroom, hallway, and gym — the three most common K-12 projects
Classroom & Indoor Displays
2.5mm indoor-rated displays for classrooms, offices, and small conference spaces.
Envision TierLobby & Hallway Signage
Fine-pitch digital signage for front offices, hallways, and wayfinding, viewed up close.
Imagine TierGym & Auditorium Video Boards
Scoreboard and event video boards for gyms and auditoriums, readable from the back row.
Districts adding an outdoor stadium or marquee board can also see the Dream-tier outdoor scoreboards — the same 100,000+ hour panel standard, specified for outdoor use.
Backed by Visualize LED since 2010
Panels rated for 100,000+ hours (roughly 11.5 years of continuous use), from a manufacturer trusted by clients including Google, Hillsong, and Belmont Park.
